What this site is
Tanzania Holidays is a travel-planning publication. We explain safari routes, compare places to stay and collect useful questions to ask before paying for a tour. We are not Tanzania's tourism authority, a tour operator, a hotel or a booking agent. Reservations take place with the provider you choose.
Our aim is to make the decisions behind a trip easier: where a safari starts, how long transfers take, what a hotel rate includes and which Zanzibar coast suits the holiday you actually want.
How we research guides
We use official park and government information for rules and travel requirements, and check hotel and activity listings for the details shown in our comparisons. A high rating alone is not enough: location, review volume, timing and practical trade-offs matter too. We do not pretend to have personally visited every hotel or taken every tour on the site.
Prices, guest scores, opening hours and entry rules can change. A dated figure is a snapshot, not a live quote. Follow the provider link for the current offer and check the exact dates, room or activity option before booking.
Photos and recommendations
We label destination photographs when they illustrate an area rather than a particular property or tour. Property and product photographs may come from the listing or provider. Our image credits identify the source of editorial photographs.
Some booking links can earn us a commission. That does not add a charge to your booking, but it is still a commercial relationship, so we explain it in our affiliate disclosure. Recommendations should help you compare options, not hide the drawbacks.

Found an outdated price, broken link, incorrect photo or missing source? Email hello@tanzaniaholidays.com. Include the page URL and the detail you want us to check. We review corrections and update pages when we can verify the change.
