"THE
GREEN HILLS OF AFRICA"
| Underground
Springs that filter down from Ngorongoro highlands keep this park green throughout
the year. Mahogany, Sausages and Croton trees are alive with blue monkeys and
Vervets. Elephants are commonly seen in small herds, they are Capable of Consuming
up to 400 kg of food each day. Manyara is an ideal location for them as it has
an abundance of tree and Plant life.

| Bushbuck,
waterbuck, Baboons, Aardvark, Civet, the shy pangolin and Leopard, Buffalo, Hippo,
Giraffe, Impala, Zebra and the famous tree Climbing Lions. There are huge flocks
of flamingoes. There are Hot Springs within the park. Tree Climbing pythons. The
park is a Sanctuary to over 400 species of bird including pelicon, Storks, Sacred
ibis, Cormorants, and Egyption geese.

LAKE MANYARA SERENA LODGE
